Shri Ramleela Mahotsav 2026 Day 6 – Sanjeevani Prasang at JK Temple
Shri Ramleela Mahotsav 2026 – Day 6 will be celebrated on 19th October 2026, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, at Siddh Shri Radha Krishna Temple (JK Temple), Kamla Nagar, Kanpur. The sixth day will present the inspiring Sanjeevani Prasang, portraying Lakshman Ji struck by Meghnad's Shakti and Shri Hanuman Ji lifting the Dronagiri mountain to bring the life-saving Sanjeevani herb.
Siddh Shri Radha Krishna Temple (JK Temple), Kanpur, will continue its grand Shri Ramleela Mahotsav 2026 celebrations on 19th October 2026, presenting the sixth day of the seven-day festival dedicated to the divine life, teachings, and ideals of Bhagwan Shri Ram.
The evening will bring to life one of the most powerful and inspiring chapters of the sacred Ramayana, the Sanjeevani Prasang, through traditional theatrical performances, expressive dialogues, and devotional storytelling.
The programme will open on the battlefield of Lanka, where the fierce war between the army of Bhagwan Shri Ram and the forces of Ravan reaches a critical moment. Meghnad strikes Lakshman Ji with a powerful Shakti weapon, leaving him unconscious, and the entire camp is filled with sorrow.
The performance will portray the deep grief of Bhagwan Shri Ram for his beloved brother, a moment that reflects the eternal bond of love between them. On the advice of the royal physician Sushen Vaidya, it is decided that only the Sanjeevani herb from the Dronagiri mountain can save Lakshman Ji before sunrise.
The highlight of the evening will be the mighty journey of Shri Hanuman Ji, who crosses vast distances in a single flight, overcomes the deception of the demon Kalnemi, and, unable to identify the herb, lifts the entire Dronagiri mountain and carries it back to Lanka. With the Sanjeevani, Lakshman Ji is revived, and joy returns to the camp of Bhagwan Shri Ram.
Together, these sacred presentations will offer devotees an opportunity to reflect upon the strength of unwavering devotion, selfless service, and the boundless courage of Shri Hanuman Ji that lie at the heart of Sanatan Dharma.
The spiritual surroundings of JK Temple will further enrich the celebration as devotees and families gather to witness these divine episodes through traditional Ramleela performances.
All devotees, families, and visitors are warmly invited to attend Day 6 of Shri Ramleela Mahotsav 2026 and become part of an inspiring evening celebrating the devotion of Shri Hanuman Ji and the divine journey of Bhagwan Shri Ram.
