Temple). This divine ceremony is an opportunity to come together in collective prayers, seeking universal welfare, prosperity, and harmony.

On the auspicious occasion of the New Year, Shri Radha Krishna Temple (J.K. Temple) hosted a grand Rudra Yajna for the welfare, prosperity, and spiritual upliftment of the city and its residents. This sacred ritual was conducted by eleven temple priests following Vedic traditions.

The Yajna began at 12 PM with Shiva Puja and Abhishek. This was followed by Panchang Puja, Vastu Puja, Yogini Puja, Kshetrapal Puja, and Sarvatobhadra Puja, performed amidst Vedic chants. The ritual included the offering of 5100 oblations (Ahutis) to Lord Rudra, seeking universal welfare, peace, and prosperity.

One of the highlights of the event was the Gau Puja (worship of cows), where all the cows in the temple’s Gaushala were honored and worshipped according to traditional rituals. The Yajna concluded with the final offering (Purnahuti) accompanied by Vedic mantras, and thereafter, the devotees were served Prasad.

The grand event, conducted in the temple’s sacred Yajna Shala, was attended by temple priests, saints, public representatives, and thousands of devotees. Notable dignitaries such as MLA Amitabh Bajpai, MLC Shri Salil Vishnoi, and Deputy Labor Commissioner Mrs. Soumya Pandey participated in the Yajna and offered oblations to Lord Rudra.

The occasion also marked the inauguration of Shri Radha Krishna Temple’s first official website, www.jktemple.com, by the esteemed Mrs. Sushila Singhania, a senior member of the Singhania family. This website aims to connect devotees with the temple’s activities, religious services, and information. It will also offer facilities such as online darshan, donations, and booking of pujas.

At 6 PM, a spiritual and cultural program, "Bhavarpan," was organized. Artists from the Rhythm Group enthralled the audience with mesmerizing performances of devotional music, dance, and drama.

The temple management expressed heartfelt gratitude to all devotees for their participation and extended their best wishes for a happy, prosperous, and spiritually fulfilling New Year.
