Shri Krishna Leela Janmashtami Mahotsav 2026 will be celebrated from 3rd September to 9th September 2026 at Siddh Shri Radha Krishna Temple (JK Temple), Kamla Nagar, Kanpur. The seven-day celebration will present the divine journey of Bhagwan Shri Krishna, from the events preceding His birth and Baal Leelas to Maharaas, Govardhan Leela, Krishna-Rukmini Vivah, Sudama Milan, Virat Roop, and Shrimad Bhagavad Gita Updesh. Devotees and families are heartily invited to experience seven spiritually enriching evenings dedicated to the divine leelas of Shri Krishna.


Siddh Shri Radha Krishna Temple (JK Temple), Kanpur is preparing to celebrate the sacred festival of Shri Krishna Janmashtami 2026 with a magnificent seven-day presentation titled “Shri Krishna Leela”, from 3rd September to 9th September 2026.

The celebration will take devotees on a spiritual journey through some of the most significant episodes from the divine life and leelas of Bhagwan Shri Krishna. Each evening will unfold a new chapter through devotional acts and cultural presentations, allowing devotees to experience the teachings, compassion, courage, love, and divine wisdom associated with Shri Krishna.

The celebrations will begin on 3rd September with Devaki-Vasudev Vivah and Akashvani, setting the foundation for the divine arrival of Shri Krishna. On 4th September, the temple will celebrate Shri Krishna Janmotsav and Baal Leelas, commemorating His divine birth and the joyous leelas of Baal Krishna.

On 5th September, devotees will witness the dramatic episodes of Putana Vadh, Bakasur Vadh, Aghasur Vadh, and Kaliya Daman, reflecting the triumph of divine power over evil. 6th September will be devoted to the enchanting Maharaas, celebrating the profound bond of divine love and devotion.

The journey will continue on 7th September with Govardhan Parvat Uthana, Kans Vadh, and Shri Krishna Rajyabhishek. On 8th September, the programme will portray Shri Krishna-Rukmini Vivah and Shri Krishna-Sudama Milan, highlighting divine love, friendship, humility, and devotion.

The seven-day celebration will culminate on 9th September with Draupadi Cheer Haran, Virat Roop, and Shrimad Bhagavad Gita Updesh, presenting the timeless message of dharma, duty, devotion, and spiritual wisdom given by Bhagwan Shri Krishna.

From 4:30 PM to 9:00 PM each day, JK Temple will become a centre of devotion, culture, and celebration as devotees gather to witness the divine leelas of Shri Krishna.
