Siddh Shri Radha Krishna Temple (JK Temple), Kanpur celebrated Shri Krishna Janmashtami Mahotsav 2026 with devotion, cultural richness, and spiritual grandeur from 3rd September to 9th September 2026.

The seven-day celebration, presented through Shri Krishna Leela, took devotees on a spiritual journey through some of the most significant episodes from the divine life of Bhagwan Shri Krishna. Each day unfolded a different chapter through devotional and cultural presentations, beautifully conveying the values of love, courage, friendship, dharma, devotion, and divine wisdom.

The celebrations began on 3rd September with Devaki-Vasudev Vivah and Akashvani, setting the stage for the divine arrival of Bhagwan Shri Krishna.

On 4th September, Shri Krishna Janmotsav and Baal Leelas were celebrated, portraying the joy surrounding the divine birth of Shri Krishna and the enchanting leelas of Baal Krishna.

On 5th September, devotees witnessed presentations based on Putana Vadh, Bakasur Vadh, Aghasur Vadh, and Kaliya Daman. These powerful episodes portrayed the courage and divine strength of Shri Krishna.

The fourth day, 6th September, was dedicated to Maharaas, creating an enchanting devotional atmosphere and beautifully expressing the eternal bond of divine love and bhakti associated with Shri Radha Krishna.

On 7th September, the celebrations continued with presentations depicting Govardhan Parvat Leela, Kans Vadh, and Shri Krishna Rajyabhishek, highlighting significant chapters from the divine journey of Shri Krishna.

On 8th September, devotees witnessed Shri Krishna-Rukmini Vivah and Shri Krishna-Sudama Milan. The presentations beautifully conveyed the values of divine love, friendship, humility, and unconditional devotion.

The seven-day Janmashtami Mahotsav culminated on 9th September with presentations based on Draupadi Cheer Haran, Virat Roop, and Shrimad Bhagavad Gita Updesh. The concluding day highlighted the timeless teachings of Bhagwan Shri Krishna on dharma, duty, devotion, and righteous action.

Throughout the festival, the sacred premises of JK Temple remained immersed in an atmosphere of bhakti, spirituality, music, dance, and cultural expression. Devotees gathered to witness the divine presentations, seek the blessings of Shri Radha Krishna, and become part of the grand Janmashtami celebrations.

The seven-day Shri Krishna Janmashtami Mahotsav 2026 concluded on a spiritually uplifting note, leaving devotees with cherished memories and the timeless message of Bhagwan Shri Krishna.
