Simantonnayana

Honor the expectant mother and bless the unborn child with our Simantonnayana ceremony, traditionally performed during the sixth or eighth month of pregnancy. Devotees can participate in this joyous celebration, offering prayers and blessings for the well-being of both mother and child, The temple priests conduct rituals, perform puja, and shower blessings on the expectant family.

Simantonnayana Ceremony:

Significance: The purpose of the ceremony is to bring good fortune, avoid miscarriage, and protect the mother and the unborn child.
Process: The husband performs the ritual, which includes: 
                  1) Japa of the ॐ भूर्विनयामि mantra 
                  2) Using a gular branch to part the wife's hair
                  3) Reciting a Ṛigveda mantra 
                  4) Receiving blessings from the home's elderly women
